THE RELEASE CFCR No 03/14: FOR THE PRESS, THE RWANDANS AND THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
THE FDLR, THEIR FAMILIES AND OTHER RWANDAN REFUGEES IN D.R. CONGO IS NOT THE CRUCIAL PROBLEM THAT RWANDA HAS
The liberation army « Coalition Forces for Change in Rwanda CFCR-IMVEJURU” as it was published in our press release issued on 17January 2014, we should not stay silent on the injustice and the persecution of Rwandan people of all kind; for that, we take this opportunity to state the following about the FDLR, their families and other Rwandan refugees who are in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
1. HEAVY BURDEN FOR RWANDA AND THE GREAT LAKES REGION
The liberation Army CFCR-IMVEJURU inform all Rwandans and the international community that the burden for Rwanda and the Great Lakes region is not the FDLR, their families and other Rwandan Refugees who are in the Democratic Republic of Congo as some people who fell in a trap of the RPF think and they are wrong.
We want to remind all representatives of several International organizations in the region and others who are concerned that the burden for Rwanda and the Great Lakes region is the poor diet of the RPF and President Kagame characterized by negative ethnicity, tribalism, sectarianism, discrimination, dictatorship, injustice and military invasion of foreign countries as it was the case in the D.R. Congo since 1996 until today, steal of the country’s wealth and killing of the population.
2. CFCR-IMVEJURU CALL ON RWANDANS AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY ON HUMANITARIAN ACTION
We call on the Rwandans and the International community to behave and stop calling, mobilizing, and rejoicing in the death of others while spreading the news of the attacks on the FDLR ,their families and other refugees who are in DR Congo by UN and Congolese forces, as if they are about to attend or broadcast a football match.
If you still feel human, it is time. You put yourself in the place of those people who need like us to live, before calling the UN and Congolese forces to shell them! Remember that these people are forever in the forests of D. R.Congo because they hadn’t the opportunity and the means to fly to Nairobi, South Africa, Europe, America, Canada, Australia where some of you have found asylum? Many are survivors of the Hutu Genocide perpetrated by the RPF / RPA in Congo since 1996 as shown by the UN Mapping Report. We want to remind the international community that if the UN continues to keep this report in a drawer in New York, finally this Higher Authority shall be deemed unable of giving justice to the victims who are still unprotected in bits of DR.Congo. This institution should expect serious consequences.
It’s really unfortunate that the RPF who claims to be a government of all Rwandans, to have led the country in the name of the Rwandan people, but which strives to call the UN army and the brigade of intervention to kill the rest of those who fled into eastern D.R. Congo instead of acting as a responsible government, tackling and solving the Rwanda refugee problem by uprooting all its root causes. It had more than 20 years to do that and it failed to do so. What kind of Government is it then? All these atrocities on the Rwandan population in the country and elsewhere as in D.R. Congo show that this RPF system is totally corrupt, incapable of ruling the country for the interest of the whole Rwandan people. Such a corrupt and bankrupt government and its leaders must resign before Rwandans call them on it.
The International Community which calls for these refugees to return home must proceed with an audit to know where are the persons who have been repatriated back before? We want to know the role of the International community which fails to denounce the killings against the repatriated refugees once they are on Rwanda soil and others killed by Kagame and his RPF tyrant regime in asylum countries.
These two small examples we know for sure are a reminder that requires the attention of all:
a) It has been reported in various reports of the international community that over 11,000 combatants were repatriated to Rwanda since 2002. We ask the same International Community to proceed with the verification to see if it can find at least the half of those people who are still alive. We know that more than half were killed or kept in Rwandan death prisons because of their only “crime” of being Hutus.
b) We urge the UNHCR to give explanations to the International Community of the 108 subjects repatriated from Gabon in 1997 who were gradually killed at Camp Kigali within a year and a half by the RPF. Can this institution of the UN show at least its report denouncing these criminal acts? How then can the international community ignore this and wants to see other repatriated refugees being killed in this way? Being aware of all this horrible background, how can UN officials state that the FDLR, their families and Rwandan refugees with them once repatriated in RPF Rwanda they will live a peaceful life!
3. THE KAGAME AND RPF DICTATORSHIP WILL NOT BE DEPOSED BY THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
All of you who believe that the Government of Kagame and RPF bloodroot will be driven by the pressure of the international community; far from it. Forget it. This man has more than 40 billion US dollars that he plundered the country and neighboring country D.R.Congo. This money is used by FPR leaders to corrupt some staffs of the international community among them those for the UN; leaders of some countries and the media so that they support his policy of human hunting in order to cling on power at all costs.
If the international community really dare to say publicly that it must have another war for killing refugees forgetting Mapping report locked in the drawers of the UN Head Office in New York, this is a strong sign to discourage clearly those waiting for the support of the international community to get rid of Kagame and RPF bloody dictatorship. It is up to ourselves to look and see the ways to solve the problems of our country, to save and stop the slaughter of the population. It would be a big mistake to think that the international community will force the dictator Kagame for resignation; it will be on our own strength as Rwandans.
Statements from Senator Russ Feingold Special Representative of the United States of America in the Great Lakes region about these refugees are a certified copy of those published by the European Union. If the statements of Senator Russ Feingold were delivered in a US-AFRICA Summit, this means that the act is not an act of chance. He did get the message that was given to him by his country which he represents. This shows that we must unite to show to the international community that all those wrong doings done by their leaders are unacceptable. For a long time, President Bill Clinton tacitly supported killings and genocide of the Rwandan people and insecurity in the Great Lakes region on behalf of the American people; the Prime Minister Tony Blair has done the same on behalf of the British people while he does this for his own interests. Similarly President Yoweli Museveni who continues even today to support the dictator Kagame and he does so on behalf of Ugandan people while protecting his own interests. And here now is the turnaround of Senator Russ Feingold who acts on behalf of the American population. It is time to show to the people of these countries of America and Europe that the mass killings and genocide that are happening in the Great Lakes Region of Africa, if nothing is done to stop these atrocities, that sooner or later they will be found liable and will suffer the consequences.
4. THE QUESTION OF FDLR AND THEIR FAMILIES
The problem of the FDLR, their families, and other refugees who are in D.R.Congo is a problem that must be addressed and resolved quickly in a humanitarian approach.
The Government of Rwanda must not ask the UN military and Congolese forces to fight the FDLR, their families and refugees for this is not a solution. These people are Rwandan refugees who are in DR. Congo because Rwanda led by President Kagame and his RPF has failed and / or unwilling to solve the problem of negative ethnicity, regionalism, discrimination and nepotism in the country. Also, because of the atrocities carried out by RPF/APR soldiers since when they invaded D.R.Congo in 1996, the Congolese population formerly very friendly are no longer and want to see Rwandan refugees out of their country. That makes sense after more than 20 years of their stay as refugees on the Congolese soil without any sign of willingness on behalf of the RPF Rwanda to arrange their repatriation in dignity as rwandan citizens.
5. WHAT TO DO ?
It is clear that the dialogue between President Kagame and his opponents will not take place as stated by Senator Russ Feingold, and this is not a secret. Kagame does not want it and he will not like it, unless he is being imposed. But nobody else will impose him to do so if not ourselves, the Rwandan people.
We ask the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and other powerful countries like Canada and the European Union Countries to halt the UN and Congolese forces to use military forces against the Rwandan refugees. On the other hand , we as them to proceed by the humanitarian action as soon as possible to solve the problem of the FDLR, their families and refugees who are in the DRC, and to seek for the ways to permanently solve the problem of insecurity in the Great Lakes Region caused by the RPF Rwanda and its allies.
Given that the international community does not care about the real and true problem of Rwandan, it requires to FDLR , all armed groups, all opposition political parties, to meet and develop a common political, economic, social and cultural platform that we must submit to the Rwandans and the international community in order to show them in which direction we would like to take this country to be an inclusive society, a Rwanda for All.
